About us:

We’re Andrew and Tanor Banks—the husband-and-wife team behind Performance Wraps in Dayton, Ohio. Our journey into the wrap industry didn’t begin with a perfect plan—it started with a shaky business purchase that left us a quarter of a million dollars in debt. We were suddenly responsible for an arguably failing company, a mountain of payments, and a future that felt anything but certain.

Instead of letting that weight crush us, we dug in. We built from the ground up, investing in our systems and people, learning from every mistake (MANY OF THESE), and putting in the long days (and nights) that come with chasing a vision. Over time, those struggles turned into milestones: expanding into an 8,000 sq. ft. facility, growing a team of talented installers, winning multiple wrap-related and entrepreneurial awards, cultivating over 160+ 5-star reviews, while juggling the everyday struggles of a personal life.

But it wasn’t easy. We’ve lived the chaos of juggling quotes, installs, employees, payroll, marriage, and a dozen fires simultaneously (and arguably still do, but in a much more controlled fashion). That’s why we started the WrapOps Podcast—to share the lessons, tools, and hard-earned insights that helped us survive and thrive. If you’re running a wrap shop or dreaming of scaling one, you’ll hear the real story of what it takes—the good, the bad, and the game-changing strategies that can make all the difference.
